Rubber Board Registration is mandatory for individuals or businesses involved in the production, processing, manufacturing, trading, or export of natural rubber products.

The board provides support to growers, processors, and exporters through technical guidance, training, licensing, research, and market development initiatives. The registration must be renewed annually based on activity compliance and documentation requirements.

The Rubber Board also conducts training programs, certification courses, and trade fairs to enhance skill development, encourage innovation, and support MSMEs in the rubber industry. It plays a crucial role in ensuring quality standards, industry regulation, and structured rubber market growth across India.

Types of Rubber Board Licenses

The Rubber Board issues licenses based on the type of activity performed in the rubber sector. There are three primary categories:

  • Dealer Licence
  • Required for individuals or businesses purchasing or selling natural rubber. Applicants must submit Form B along with proof of storage facilities, a declaration affidavit, and identification documents.

  • Processor Licence
  • Businesses involved in rubber processing, packing, or conversion must apply using Form B1. This license ensures regulatory compliance and quality control standards for rubber processing facilities.

  • Manufacturer Licence
  • Manufacturers who procure rubber for industrial production must submit Form D. The license allows purchase and consumption of a fixed quantity of rubber and must be renewed annually. Additionally, there is a category called "Special Authorization" for individuals requiring natural rubber for non-commercial use.
